My Story:
I was raised in a Roman Catholic family and taught that ,
that faith was the only thing that was going to save me. I'm not putting them down but the Roman Catholic faith has done
nothing really to help me and I was worse off during my time as a Catholic then I have been what I am about to
become now. I've been attending Buck Run Baptist Chruch in Frankfort, KY since March of this year. A little past
8 months. In Buck Run I've really found a place where I fit in with my faith. I've become a better person in the short
time I've been there. I started there for the wrong reasons... a guy I like/d goes there and I went to see him... after
some major drama went down with me and him I found myself needing God more then ever. I knew that Buck Run made me feel
more complete and helped me out so I continued to go. Well now I've started going for the right reason; my
savior. The church has opened my eyes to so much more then I've ever known before and I thank God that he gave
me a place where I can praise him with a clear mind and heart. This Sunday is going to be a really big day for me because
this Sunday I'm going to be baptised a baptist(11-14-04). Wish me luck and pray for me and the strength to truely follow
God and all his teachings.
